England Mixed Netball Squad

I am beyond proud to announce that after 9 months of hard graft on and off the court as a Training Partner I have upgraded my spot and been selected as one of the final athletes to make up the England Mixed Netball Squad!

This is the first-ever England Mixed Netball Programme and will be integral in laying the foundations for netball's global journey of inclusivity. The development of elite-level mixed netball is vital for the future of the sport and has been identified as the pathway for netball being included in the Olympics.

England Men’s and Mixed Netball Association aka EMMNA have been working extremely hard behind the scenes and the Men’s England Team (The Thorns) already in full-swing training and playing international matches in the UK and abroad, with aspirations of the Mixed team following the same pathway this year, we already have some international fixtures lined up for this summer.

We’ve had a number of High-Performance camps as part of the programme so far and these are only going to ramp up as the programme develops and grows. The cost of each camp is around £300-£400per per athlete. As there is not enough money in netball, each individual has to fund themselves for training camps, kit, accommodation and travel through fundraising events and/or sponsors (if we are lucky enough to find them). If anyone knows of organisation or company that may be interested in sponsorship to some degree (of players or the team) and being part of history please reach out for a no-obligation conversation.

I will being doing as much fundraising as possible and relying on the generosity of others to help me have the honour of representing my country. I am extremely grateful to all who choose to support me financially and I look forward to sharing this journey with you all.
