Collectibulldogs is the worlds best kept secret for the modern age! An idea so simple it’s genius! Please let me introduce myself. I am Mr E Ashdown father and husband and I own the worlds largest researched collection of English Bulldog memorabilia antiques and collectibles but at over 5000 pieces it doesn’t stop there. This has been a 13 year passion that I would love to pull out of my dream and create into reality. I am pretty sure when I am quoting if you build it they will come from field of dreams and I am asking for your help and kind and generous nature to help me build or create homage to the English bulldog by finally having an English bulldog museum right here in England based in Brighton luck permitting
this is a total of one as the museum will be split into a museum and art gallery. The artist in question is an art therapist so will use the space and other possibilities to impact the community around us who will be welcome with open arms to any kind of charitable event or idea that we come across in the future that helps those around us just like this artist used to help me.
i’m guessing some of you would like to know the reason why? Why should you pay for me to put my collection in a building? This would not be just a move for my collection from my home to a secure building but this is either my last chance or the beginning of the end I would four years ago I would’ve found investment grants unfortunately due to work incapability I started this project it’s main focus was to help my first daughter in years to come when I was not around and five years ago we had a big surprise when a second daughter came along.shes fully autistic but my everyday
after a brutal discharge from the after treatment service in Brighton, I am having to fight that to have my care plan reviewed around EUPD and other disorders I’ve suffered whilst building on this magnificent array of objects that all have the English bulldog to connect them you would be surprised to see some of the pieces for me 1800s pub floor I have a tobacco spittoon and thanks to the skills I started to learn. I also have one of SPRATTS silver plated charger this was one by which have a dog managed to get to the perfect way and can be seen on the website.
13 years and a great selection has put me in good stead to tell the world about the Bulldog story from 1835 when we introduced a blood sport band which stopped Bulldogs and other dogs from being used to fight either bears boars big cats bulls and life went quiet until the bulldog standard and the bulldog society of England was born this was in 1875. If the museum was a reality I would find this missing gap for all to learn from.
well this is it. I’d like to say thank you very much to anyone that has an interest and if someone has big pockets and wishes to have a private chat about investment, I would be glad to sit down. Show my pitch how I can make money from my website as well as my social media platforms where I just don’t stop growing and fingers crossed grey all deserve a bulldog museum it’s ingrained in our blood. The breeze has been a human favourite and been around for centuries and I really hope that the museum FA reality teaches people about a breed that will be still be very much alive and kicking
thank you very much E Ashdown
