English Bulldog Rico in Need of Duidenal Mass Removal

Hi, my name is Kim and I am fundraising for my bulldog Rico. We are in need of help for Rico who is the kindest sweetest dog. He loves people and other dogs. He always brings smiles to everyone who sees him. But recently he has been fighting for his life and going under intense medicine since we have been been able to afford surgery.

He has started chronically vomiting, loss of appetite, and constant diarrhea that lead us to take him in the emergency vet. The Vet did Ultrasounds and found a mass in Rico’s duodenum. This is most likely a cancer in his stomach and slowing the flow of food through his intestines leading to the horrific symptoms he has had. There is a concern that the mass could cause complete intestinal obstruction and/ or perforate leading to further complications which could be life threatening.

In a heart beat we would do the surgery but the cost was estimated by the Vet as $10842.45. We are doing we can to maintain him be comfortable with meds and diet change but without the mass being removed there will not be a full recovery for him. The funds will help save Rico’s life with the surgery he is needed.
