Enngonia, Clara Hart Village, Needs Your Help!
Hi,
We are the Community of Clara Hart Village, Enngonia, We seek your urgent assistance.
Covid 19 has reached our little community of Clara Hart Village (Aboriginal Community), Enngonia, which is remote NW NSW and 100kms from the nearest town of Bourke. Covid has forced Enngonia into lockdown with numbers rising in the Clara Hart Village. Adequate food supply suitable for the community is scarce, there is a small pub/general store that provides minimal food and closed on Sunday's and some Monday's, so the closet shop is 100km away in Bourke NSW.
For community to purchase food It costs $5 per box to be delivered to Enngonia from Bourke, many Aboriginal Elders and elderly do not have access to the phone/mobile or online payments. This has resulted in difficult circumstances as many community members cannot leave their homes and get necessities such as food, medication, toiletries, babies/children’s health care needs.
The towns school has also been closed; children are needing school supplies to be able to learn from home. Concerned Elders and community members have been contacting, stating there is not enough food brought into the town to feed their families, medication is not being supplied and community is running out of the essentials. This crisis is real, contact has been made with many major organisations and charities with no forthcoming support, Clara Hart Village, Enngonia needs your HELP!
Any contribution is greatly appreciated and received with wholehearted THANKS, 100% of proceeds go to the Clara Hart Village, Enngonia community.
