Enriching the lives of animals in Costa Rica

After being laid off from my job of 6.5 years, I knew I needed to get out and do something for not just myself, but to also impact others. So what did I do?? I found an amazing animal sanctuary to volunteer at — in the middle of the jungle!!

I’ve now spent the last several weeks here at the “Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center (CRARC)” and it’s been some of the greatest weeks of my life! Getting to feed and help the animals, as well as educate others about native wildlife and proper ways to interact, has been incredibly enriching.

But it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows.

This center needs support.

CRARC runs solely on donations, including volunteers who pay to come stay and support the animals. But it isn’t enough for this center to thrive. Currently, we’re just barely scraping by.. which is why I decided to start this GoFundMe.

If you donate to my cause, you’ll not only help fund my volunteer expenses here (which have totaled $3,000+), but I will give half of every single donation directly to the center to further enrich the lives of the animals, staff, and volunteers here.
