3 Sisters, 1.5 Marathons

Donation protected
Hello, the three Enright sisters are running a half marathon this March... which is not what you expect the three of us to be doing! But we've been training hard over the last couple of months and we'll be ready come the 13th of March... hopefully...

We are running it in aid of Zondra Meaney, and her Treatment Fund. Zondra suffers from a rare connective tissue disorder known as Ehler Danlos Syndrome (EDS), for which there is no specialist treatment available in Ireland. Her family and friends are trying to raise money to pay for her to receive costly treatment in London. While there is no cure for EDS, treatment can lessen the impact of this debilitating condition on her so that she can lead some sort of normal life.

Her health condition has deteriorated a lot since Christmas 2012, she has been living her life in and out of hospital, all the local hospitals and doctors can do for her is manage her pain with morphine. She is given nursing care at home with a pump through her stomach for fluids. She takes 48 tablets a day and also uses oxygen, pain patches and morphine. There is no specialist in Ireland and she has to regularly travel to London to receive the specialist care that she needs.

We'd be really grateful if you could spare a bob or two in support of this really deserving cause.
