Hello Everyone, My name is Lidia. I am one of Enrique's Daughters. Enrique was born on June 28, 1943, in Tijuana, Mexico. Although my father suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes, which was a factor in his leg amputation, he was a strong man who enjoyed being independent and outdoors. Unfortunately, my father's health drastically declined after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 28, 2022. During his COVID diagnosis, he expressed that he was anxious to be free from quarantine. Unfortunately, two days after being released from quarantine, he suffered a stroke on August 15, 2022, causing the left side of his body to be severely affected. As a result, he could not swallow due to his weakened thyroid glands, and he was placed on a gastrostomy tube to be fed. Following his G-Tube procedure, he was frequently admitted to the hospital for low blood pressure, oxygen and potassium levels, preventing him from receiving his routinely scheduled dialysis treatment. After a long and strong fight on the morning of October 3, 2022, my beloved father was set free from pain and suffering and passed away. With our hearts in our hands, my family and I ask for help as we navigate these challenging times; we would like to ask for any donations to help lay my father to rest.
