Enrique Garcia Funeral and Family Donations

Hello everyone, this is Joselito (Lito), Enrique Garcia's youngest brother. As many of you have heard of the tragedy regarding  Enrique, many of have been left with so many unanswered questions. As we have been told by authorities, Enrique's passing was a suicide.

There have been plenty of us in the community that have shared moments with him whether it was a family member, friend, neighbor, co-worker, roommate, or stranger. Many of these moments have been during his lowest points in life and very few during his highest points in life. As some of you know, early in his life he suffered from a drug addiction and alcoholism. Enrique has been in and out of the rehabilitation system for plenty of time, but this last time around he was sober for over 4 years and going strong.

Enrique had completely changed his life around during his last time around the rehab system. He got a full-time job, started to go to the gym, started to engage with his children, and started spending quality time with friends, family, and co-workers. As he had the world in front of him, he wanted the best for everyone around him. He knew what it was like to be down. He always wanted everyone around him to laugh and smile. He always wanted to help someone in need even if he had nothing to give.

As he continued his day-to-day life he started to give thanks for what he had. He turned his life around by meditating. He started to go to church to express himself honestly, and to ask for forgiveness for his past. He was accepted by so many, and brought joy to their lives because of his attitude and demeanor. He was always willing to help someone regardless of the situations. He started to embrace a lifestyle that brought him true happiness by being honest to himself and those around him.

A beautiful moment that truly changed his life and cemented him into being a truly amazing person, was his grandson being born. He saw his grandson as a rebirth of his own life. He always mentioned that he is too young for everything going on in his life, but I always told him that its a part of life, and it is even better that that you get to enjoy it at a young age. As he became a grandfather, he realized what it truly meant to be there for his children, friends, and family. He started to have strong relationships with those around him.

He reached out to an old friend of his from his childhood that he had a crush on, and he wanted to rekindle his relationship with her. He ended up doing so and became happy. He was deeply in love with his new girlfriend and even embraced her children as his own. He became an honorable man and father figure to his own children and those who he expected to be his step-children.

Unfortunately, his time came. We do not know what was going on through his mind, but we do know he didn't express any of these suicidal thoughts to anyone. No one ever seen him depressed and no one ever saw this coming. This tragedy has left everyone in question because he was truly at a happy and comfortable place in his life.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help aid in paying  his funeral cost and for those who find the necessity to donate to his children and grandson. I , Joselito (Lito), am asking for a modest $5000 from friends, family, and the community to help pay for his funeral services and help his children with any basic necessities. For those who decide to donate, I appreciate your generosity and condolences. If you have any questions about the situation or circumstances, please feel free to contact me. I will give you my number through Facebook.

I am aiming to have some funds before the following weekend on October 4th. As of right now we are not 100% sure on the date of the funeral, so if you would like to know more information, please contact me throughout the week.

Again I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and condolences.
