Entombment Fee for Susan Ann Smith

Susan Ann Smith was a beloved member of the Spartanburg County Community. She not only graduated from Spartanburg Tech as a Surgical Tech, she also went to USC for her RN and in her 50s she went back for her Bachelors Degree. 

As a 30 year employee of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center she served many of you during your surgeries as she worked within the operating room. After serving the community for 30 years she retired in 2021 and has spent the last many years focusing on her 2 sons and 3 grandbabies.

On November 21st, without warning or signs, God called her home. Susan had made sure her childern and grandbabies was set with life insurance policies, retirement policies and had even paid (many years ago) for her Mazalium Crypt, coffin and more. What she didn't know when she made this purchase at Floyd's GreenLawn Chapel (Spartanburg Eastside), is that it didn't cover the fee to open and close the tomb. 

Susans eldest son is taking care of his family on a single based income while her youngest son is currently unemployed. The insurance policies will NOT cover this fee to open/close the tomb as we tried numerous times today. 

With that being said Susan will NOT be able to be laid to rest until we're able to pay this fee up front! Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel does not allow payment plans etc. 

At this time as a family we are lost on what to do and hope we can reach out to the community for any & all help, even prayers! If you do not feel comfortable donating over the internet we are more than happy to give you the information so you can call the funeral home yourself to donate any amount. 

We thank each & everyone of you ahead of time for every single thing you can do to help get her laid to rest!
