Enya’s Leukaemia Support Fund
Our daughter was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) in July 2020, her treatment was showing promise. In early August 2021, Enya was admitted into hospital with excruciating headaches. Nearly 2 weeks later we all received crushing news, Enya had relapsed. Not only was her Leukaemia back, it has come back more aggressively than her original diagnosis and it also spread to her spinal fluid. Her original prognosis had a 96% chance of successful treatment, now her chances are between 30% - 40%. We’re all devastated, she has a tough road ahead of her of intense chemotherapy and then a bone marrow transplant.
The financial burdens this disease places on any family is truly harrowing, the travel costs and extra food needed due to her steroid medication alone is proving hard to keep up. So ultimately we’re asking for help. If anyone is in a position to donate, then our thanks and gratitude would be immeasurable. Even if people are unable to donate anything, then sharing our cause is just as good.
We thank you for your help ❤️
