Enzo’s sagittal cranio journey

Donation protected
Hi we’re kiersten and alex and we’re fundraising for our 21 month old enzo who has a head condition called Sagittal Craniosynostosis. He was diagnosed at only a couple months old. It’s a condition where the Sagittal suture along the top of the head prematurely fuses closed. When this suture closes too early, it causes the skull to grow long and narrow. Surgery is required not only to correct the shape of the head but also to allow for normal brain and vision growth. Even with this condition he has always been a very happy and intelligent baby, he hit all his milestones very early and has had no delays. He’s such a funny and creative toddler; he loves coloring, dinos, cars and spending time with his family.

We’re located in Espanola, NM but will be getting his surgery in Aurora, CO which is about a 5 hour drive. His hospital stay after surgery will roughly be about 3-7 days and he’ll have a recovery time of a few months. His surgery will occur on march 20th.

We’re humbly asking for support, although his insurance is covering most of it there are still medical, hotel and travel expenses as well as loss of income for the recovery period. We also just had our second son so we will be trading spots in the hospital to be by both of our babies sides.

Any donations and support are greatly appreciated during this difficult time for our family. Please keep our son in yours prayers, we appreciate everything! thank you!
