Remembering Mom

Its been a long road for my Mom, she is one of the most amazing women out there. She has never met a stranger, is always willing to help or open her door for anyone in need and now she is the one in need. Almost 2 years ago doctors called and found a spot on her lung, the opperated got it and "recommended" chemo for her. This dropped her immunities and allowed cancer in her Thorax. Again chemo and radiation, she was once again given a green light. They ran another scan and found masses in her brain, after gamma knife radition she was given an all clear and told to focus on getting her strength back (this was in October of 2016). After this Mom was having headaches and seziures. We were told this was normal after the gamma knife proceedure and that her brain was just getting back to normal. She had multiple hospital visits and finally was put into rehabilitation to get her back up to a healthy weight and on the track to healthy. Little did we know that she was in fact suffering because the masses in her brain were growing and reproducing, spreading to her spine and liver. She was in the hospital 5 times and also rehab and no one even bothered to look to see that they were there. December 30th Mom had another seziure while in the rehab facility and they transfered her to the hosiptal (a different one than she had been at multiple times) they told us about her conditional that there was absolutely no cure. During the first few days they told us that her final days were not eminate, then it was a few weeks, finally we were told that the had days. Today she was transfered to a beautiful hospice facility. To say this was a shock is an understatement. This whole time we were just trying to encourage her to get healthy not knowing that there were these underlying little demons eating away at her while we all sat there listening to the doctors tell us this was normal. Her beautiful spirit will be leaving us very soon and at this point Poppi (Paul) has been left in a whirlwind, he is loosing his best friend and solemate and between the hosiptal bills and hospice bills, plus he is loosing her disability income he's so over whelmed. I am asking for anyone who has every been touched by my mother, anyone she has ever helped, who she has loved or just been in her presence to help if you can in any way. So he can peacefully start to put the peices back together and keep her comfortable from now until the end. We appreicate any love support and prayers as well. We know she loved and was loved by so many.
