Emory Panhellenic Council is the largest women's organization on campus and is made of up of some of the most involved and passionate female leaders found at Emory. We are very proud to be representing this community and hope to constantly improve it and promote values like education, leadership, and activism. We have found that there are many ways our community can change for the better, and we feel there is no better time than now to act on that.
Since EPC is and always has been a predominantly white community and has rarely had conversations about the issues of race and class privilege, it is crucial to promote the education of these subjects within our council both now and forever. While EPC understands that educating our community and engaging in conversation about these issues is a process and not something achievable overnight, this is a beginning.
- Raina Kenigsberg, Panhellenic President
With all of this, we hope to be active contributors to create a better community in the future. With this in mind, we would like all of EPC to fundraise for or contribute to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Atlanta Chapter. EPC believes this is a great cause for our council since it both supports women of color and is a local foundation.
