Fighting For Hope

Donation protected
Hope’s husband Sean and many close friends are getting into the ring to fight for Hope. To raise money for her to continue with her life-saving treatment which is currently costing €13,000 per month. Please read her story below and donate what you can.

My sister Hope, a 10 year cancer survivor. She has fought cancer for 10 years now and the fight is not over. Although she has been in battle for so long, you’d never know it. A long time ago, she accepted this as her journey and has faced each day with an admirable level of grace and grit both at the same time.
For those of you who know Hope will know the level of hard work, dedication and determination it has taken to still be here today. For those of you who don’t , it is an extremely regimented routine she follows in order to keep her stage 4 incurable sarcoma stable.
60+ pills a day (natural supplements and repurposed medications)
Daily infrared sauna
Daily cold plunge
3x coffee enemas per week
Bi-weekly colonics
An extremely clean whole foods diet.

Hope , against all odds managed her cancer using these methods alone for 4 years, which is no easy feat if you know the nature of Sarcoma. However in December 2022 , her life once again was turned upside down with the news that the cancer was again on the move and this time it was relentless. Things went from bad to worse when one of the tumours on her lung was growing rapidly. She was advised by her uk oncologist to move to America to be under the care of the sarcoma oncology centre who were running trials of immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy and had had some promising results. Hope and Sean packed up their lives and moved to California within 5 days of the shocking news.

By the time Hope was due to start treatment, the mass had grown to 16cm, it was compressing her heart and her condition was critical. We were told on several occasions that she may not make it and this ‘could be it’ .

Hope’s will and determination never once faltered and she fought with all she had to keep pushing. Doing what she could when in such a bad way, tapping into her mental resilience and putting one foot in front of the other. After 18 months in California and a major lung surgery to remove the huge tumour as well as half her left lung, she is thankfully back on solid ground and the disease is once again stable.

However, with the nature of stage 4 cancer, the regiment must continue and she has to stay on one of her treatments in a bid to always stay one step ahead , which is a gene targeted therapy, for at least another year. Living in California for the duration was not feasible, with Sean, her husband, unable to work there. We had to find away to bring them and the treatment home. As the UK refused to allow this to be imported for Hope to continue treatment at home, the best solution we were able to find was a clinic in Germany which she now travels to 3 weeks of the month where she spends Wednesday to Friday there. Whilst she is willing to do whatever it takes, and the constant to and throw doesn't phase her, the cost to do so is astronomical.
Clinic fee per week she is there = €2500 x3
Importation of the drug from America per month = €5000
Whole body hyperthermia once a month = €500
A grand total of €13,000 per month.
Which is why we need your help.
Our hope is that Hope will complete this course of treatment by October next year with her in remission where she will be able to be home and go back to work full time and resume a 'normal' life.
