Epps Family Medical Fund

The Epps family could use some help, friends! Peter has been in constant pain in his hip for quite a while. He first went to his regular doctor in early December who thought it was likely damage to the muscle, and scheduled tests to get some answers, but Peter contracted COVID before the tests could be done. His symptoms have been mild, but last Tuesday, December 22, Peter's pain got to the point that he really couldn't move at all, so he went to the ER.

While scanning his hip they found masses in the gut that are likely lymphoma. The ER doctor advised to postpone more tests until Peter is COVID free and quarantines for the appropriate amount of time. Peter went back home.

Once at home, he became completely immobile, and the pain was still breaking through even with pain killers. Peter went back to the hospital on December 27th, when it became clear he couldn't manage without hospitalization, and he has been admitted.

Peter lost his health insurance when St. Gregory's University closed. He and Sarah need our help to cover medical bills and more. 

Peter and Sarah Epps are loved dearly by all who know them. They have both dedicated their lives to education and the church. They are beloved godparents to five children and counting: one of whom is pictured with them here. 

This is a fluid situation until more tests are completed; Peter and Sarah will keep us updated as they are able. Prayers for benign tumors and ease of Peter's pain are the biggest help of all!
