Epsom kitten's vet treatment
Donation protected
On Monday some members of staff found a kitten abandoned in a cardboard box in Epsom hospital, she was very hungry and had an injured tail. I took her to the vets that afternoon and they have said she needs an operation to be spayed and to look at her tail, she is also not microchipped! They cannot say until they look at the tail if it can be healed with antibiotics or if she may need a partial amputation of her tail.
Because she is in discomfort with her tail and also to give her the best chance at finding a loving forever home, she will be having her surgery this coming Monday. Meanwhile, she is safe and being looked after and will be cared for while she recovers.
My six year old daughter, Alice, is an animal lover and was very sad to hear about what has happened to the kitten. Especially as she has two much loved cats at home. To raise money towards her vet bill she has decided to do a sponsored walk this Sunday.
