The Benoit Family’s road to Matthew’s Recovery

The family of Matthew Benoit is requesting funds to assist Matt and his family due to recent devastating health issues. On Dec 7th, due to complications from his ulcerative colitis that he has had for 8 years, Matt had to have an emergency surgery to remove his colon. Thankfully, this surgery was done just in time, avoiding what could have been a substantially worse recovery or even possible death. In 2-3 months, after what is proving to be a painful and difficult recovery, Matt is facing another major surgery to reverse the original ileostomy. Matt is a hard working, self employed father of 3. His work is labor intensive and physically demanding. He will therefore be unable to work for at least 8-10 months. Matt is a proud, humble man who finds it difficult to ask for help, but the loss of income will be very challenging for this family of 5. We are hoping that with some financial help, Matt will be able to concentrate his energy on what is most important, his full recovery.
