Urgent Help For Oromo Farmers in Ethiopia

We are raising funds for the Oromo farmers of Horo Guduru Wollaga in Ethiopia who have fallen victims to unspeakable violence and hate from surrounding militias.

Farmers in districts Amuru and Jardaga Jarte have fled their homes to nearby towns for the safety of themselves and their families. Their harvests (the only source of income) are being burned to the ground, livestock being mugged or killed, homes are being destroyed, and mass murder of women, children, and the elderly are occurring daily in their very own homes. A little over two weeks ago, a mother of six children was shot in the head while carrying her baby. Fortunately, she is still alive. However, she has been in the hospital fighting for her life since January 1st.

 

We are working closely with locally elected organizers to provide financial support and absolutely 100% of the collected money will go to farmers who are affected by this tragedy.

 

Our mission is to:

1. To provide basic human needs such as food, clothes, shelter, for the displaced

2. To provide medical care for those who are injured

3. To rebuild and restore these communities
