As everyone knows, I’ve had a string of bad luck with the kittens I was recently raising for adoption. This time around, the health concern is for my Siamese boy Sal, who has gotten something (likely a hairball) stuck in his stomach. He will not eat or drink, and he needs emergency care to be saved. I’ve called every clinic imaginable, and they’ve all said they won’t help him without payment upfront. I wouldn’t wish that kind of end on my worst enemy, let alone a sweet animal who has been an amazing pet, and seen me through some really hard times. I’ve exhausted myself financially to save a kitten with a blood transfusion, and now I need all the help I can get to save my boy. I can’t lose him. If you are able to help or know anyone who is able to help, please share. I’m begging you.
UPDATE* the obstruction has been dealt with, but Sal is unfortunately struggling with pneumonia, a harsh cough, and not being able to keep food down. The recommendation of the vet was to bring him back in for chest x-rays and a more in-depth examination which is what I’m preparing to do.
