Jack needs your help.

Hello my name is Dawn and for 6 months now
our disabled son Jack has had an awful cough
while sleeping. He brings up thick mucus but
lately he hasn’t been able to bring it up and
luckily we have heard him on the monitor ( he is
epileptic) and have been able to remove the
mucus. He has a rare syndrome called Mowat Wilson Syndrome, he is dependant on adults 24/7, he is still in nappies and can not feed himself. However he is the happiest, cheekiest menace ever. Our GP has prescribed 8 different types of medication to try to relive this but to no avail. He told us yesterday there is nothing more they
can try and that he needs specialist intervention.
Jack was referred to a paediatric respiratory
specialist back in March but we received a letter on the 26th May to say there are no available
appointments at this time. Jack did have a chest
X-ray on the 25th of May 2022 and that has
shown hyperinflation on his lungs. I contacted
Spire Hull about taking him private but they don’t have paediatric respiratory specialists so we will have to take him to Spire Leeds, this will result in having to stay over in Leeds. I have set up this page to try and help with expenses etc, I know times are hard for everyone at the minute. Jacks dad Tony is doing the Great North Run in September so if anyone would like to donate as a sponsor that would be fab, thanks everyone for reading
We have had such amazing support thank you all so much. We appreciate each and everyone of you. We know this could run into £1000’s but we need Jack sorting bless him
