Hi we’re raising money to support a large + small animal rescue on the Pacific Coast of Baja California Sur in Todos Santos.

We’ve been rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming animals full time for the past three years, building an off-grid facility to foster and protect them while they heal, and now we need to expand: create a stronger human organization and empower the community around us with access to collaborative knowledge, subsidized feed during dire times, and more comprehensive low-cost vet supplies.

Funds support full veterinary care, hay and grains for large animals, feeds for small animals, dewormers, vaccines and critical medicines needed to fight infection.

The Baja peninsula is rural with a small number of expert veterinarians in high demand so there is not always a vet available for emergencies. We have created a facility to shelter animals in the Todos Santos area (there is no other facility in this area that can provide the level of medical care we can offer) and care for them with expert triage until a vet can arrive. In the past we’ve waited over a week with animals who have gotten trapped in cattle guards and sheared off entire joint capsules, or babies born with septicemia… legs caught in wires, starvation, etc. These animals would have surely died without intervention.

We would like to expand our organization to offer regular vet and farrier clinics to locals. If someone is looking for support we would like to be able to offer the support they need. We would like to continue gifting wound care kits to low-income animal owners and create a subsidized feed program in Winter months. That’s why we need your help!!

$100 can provide basic hay for 1 month to 1 large animal, or badly needed dental care, or full vaccines for one year. $50 buys antibiotics, bandages. $15 dewormer. $500 can provide a life-saving surgical procedure.
