Equitable Opportunities for the Arts for All Students

Academy of Visual and Performing Arts is a 6-12 grade public charter school that serves students in Tarrant County and Fort Worth, Texas. Our mission is to provide a safe, challenging learning environment that cultivates our students' academic and artistic excellence. We exist to ensure that all students are provided with equitable opportunities to learn in the arts and learn through the arts.
To ensure equitable access to these opportunities, AVPA provides a range of programs that eliminate barriers to participation. We offer free bus transportation, free access to our arts programs, free breakfast and lunch for all students, and free school uniforms. These essential services allow students to engage in their education without financial worry fully. In addition, we provide programs to help build our students' physical health, mental health, and well-being. We believe that all students should have access to a high-quality education.
To sustain these impactful programs, we seek general operating support and dedicated funding for our academic and arts initiatives. AVPA is a Title 1 School, and without external support, our students would face significant obstacles to accessing high-quality education and arts programs. Your contribution enables us to provide comprehensive resources and programs that foster academic and artistic excellence for every student, regardless of their financial circumstances.
With the backing of donors like you, AVPA is committed to creating a future where all students can thrive in an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring environment, ultimately empowering them to become creative and compassionate leaders in their communities.
