Equity in Homeschool for Jackson-Madison County TN

I am president of Spark Joy Homeschool Cooperative in Jackson TN. We are a TN registered nonprofit homeschool cooperative in the Jackson area (501c3 Pending). We are seeking to expand our offerings to welcome more families. We currently have art, science, chess, forest school, fieldtrips, and community service projects. Our current student roster includes 15 kids from 5 families. We have been operating out of my 20X30 shed. We want to open our roster to double the number of students. In order to do that we need to rent space, purchase insurance, and purchase additional supplies. We are going to rent space at the Beech Bluff Rec center in Jackson TN beginning 3 Sep 2024. Our rent will be $1,100 for the school year. We need an additional $600 for insurance. We project our added curriculum and supplies cost at approx $1,000.

For a total immediate need of $2,800. We will be getting $400 in donations from our board members. This brings our immediate need down to $2,400.
