ER Nurse Home Sick Without PTO and Needs our Help

Our dear friend Tracy is an RN at Fairview Ridge Emergency Room in Burnsville Minnesota. She is a single mom of 2 adorable boys, Avery and Eli. Over the past year or so, Tracy has struggled with some chronic health issues causing significant medical bills and an empty PTO bank of sick leave.

Over the past week Tracy became very ill and was required to self quarantine for 14 days do to the threat of the Covid-19 virus. For every day she is not working she is going without a paycheck and is falling further and further behind on her bills. She is hoping for a speedy recovery and will get back to work helping the rest of us citizens as soon as she is allowed to do so. 

For those of you who know Tracy, you know that she is normally the funniest person in the room, full of life and a hoot to be around. She is an extremely hard worker with a heart of gold, and way too proud to ask for help. 

So we are asking for her. We are her lifelong friends and would do anything for her. Unfortunately the mountain is a little too high for us to climb on our own, and we need your help. 

Tracy has fallen behind on her bills and will only continue to do so because of her previous health issues, current medical bills and her unpaid leave from her sickness and required quarantine. 

If there is ever a person to help out in a time of need, it is a nurse fighting for all of us on the front line of this virus. Please do what you can to help Tracy.

April 16 Update: Tracy is back to work and battling the Coronavirus on the front lines. We are so proud of her and her desire to make a difference! She is back to feeling healthy. Sadly, she can only see her kiddos from 6 feet away in order to keep them safe and healthy. We are working hard to help her pay down some medical bills and get on more stable ground.

March 24 Update: Tracy has finally gotten her test results back today and she is negative for COVID-19. We are so grateful she only had a really bad flu like sickness. She will complete her 14 day quarantine and then go back to work after that point as soon as she is healthy enough to do so.  She is using the money to stay current with her bills and try to pay down some of her medical expenses.
