Erbe Family Support Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Samantha. My husband and I are best friends with the Erbe family pictured above; John, Tabetha, Victoria and Addilynn. This fundraiser is for the Erbe family. John got sick with covid 19 on August 6th. He was rushed to the hospital due to him having shortness of breath on August 10th and they discovered he had covid pneumonia. On the 16th, John was placed on life support because his lungs had failed. Once he was intubated and placed on life support, the doctors said that most people on life support are given 20% to 27% of survival. Unfortunately, with John's specific condition he is given 5% to 10%. Two days before intubation, he pleaded with Tabetha, he does not want to die, fight for his survival and be aggressive. She has done nothing short of her promise to him.

Tabetha has been busy with maintaining the house, raising their 4 year old, advocating and fighting for her husband, John from the moment she wakes up at 7:30 till the moment they won't take her calls anymore.

She also was diagnosed with covid with her husband but since has recovered mostly. She's not able to visit John due to covid protocol however she uses every zoom or possible way to communicate and/or see him. Normally, they are allowed to zoom only once a day for thirty minutes but they do allow her to do this twice a day, anywhere from one to four hours at a time.

Due to John's recent return to his former employer, he was unable to sign up for short and long term disability. The enrollment period begins in November. He is the main source of income and I know this will help ease the burden of current and future bills to come for the Erbe family.

John's road to recovery will be long and with everyone's support, I know we can help ease this burden and continue the prayers while he continues to fight.
