This past Monday, we got the awful news that our MauMau had died. While already grieving, we discovered that she had changed life insurance companies 3 months ago and the policy had to be in force for a year before it will pay out. So there is nothing to pay her final expenses with. She deserves a proper send off, and we're hoping to raise enough money to do so.
