Eric Ferrer

Hi, my name is Shamara. I am the stepdaughter of veteran Eric Ferrer. On Sunday, January 8th, 2023 shortly after midnight, my stepdad was outside of our family home in his car when an unknown suspect shot him. He was still showing some signs of life and was taken to Aventura hospital. We made so many attempts to save him. However, due to the extent of his injury he was declared brain dead and was removed from life support early Tuesday morning. Unfortunately we are not prepared for this a tragedy. We are struggling to accept this harsh reality that he is no longer with us. I decided to create this page in efforts to gain some assistance with his funeral expenses and any other expenses left behind due to his untimely passing. Please know that no donation is too little and we would be greatly appreciative of your efforts.

In closing, I just want to tell you all that he is deeply missed by many. He lived in his community for over 25 years and never had an issue with anyone. The road to our healing will be extremely long and difficult so, aside from donations we are asking for prayers. Life can throw some unexpected curve balls and this was a major one for our family.
