Firefighter Eric Hill Family Assistance

While working a northbound I-27 traffic accident this morning at Drew Street; a southbound vehicle lost control, crossed the median and struck two firefighters and one police officer. Transported and pronounced dead at the hospital was Lieutenant David Eric Hill, age 39. Lt. Hill began his career with LFR on August 17th, 2009 and had just recently celebrated 10 years of service to the citizens of Lubbock. Eric had promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on July 6th, 2019.  Please join us in keeping these families and our LFR family in your thoughts and prayers.
