Eric is soaring with the Angels now...

Hey there, my name is Marla Guidry and I am Eric's other Mama. Eric had been fighting the disease of alcoholism for years until Friday, August 4, 2023, when he lost his battle. He was 35 years old. He was a kind-hearted, warm, funny, full-of-life young man and will always be remembered this way by all who knew him. There is nothing he wouldn't do to help others in need, and now we find ourselves in need of funds to cover the cost of his final arrangements. He passed away with no insurance or savings, and we are experiencing extreme financial difficulties at this point in our lives. Never, ever did we imagine we would lose our son in such a tragic way, but we must do what is best for him to be remembered as the person he was before alcoholism took over his life. His companion and best friend, Bugsy, his faithful dog, is simply lost without him, as you can imagine.

We will be celebrating his life at a future date as right now it is too difficult to think of these arrangements. He wishes to be cremated, and his Dad and brother plan to spread his ashes in Corpus Christi at a place where they have a wonderful memory together.

Although we have helped others in the past, we now find ourselves in need of help to cover the cost of carrying out his final request. If you find it in your heart to help us out, saying we will greatly appreciate it is an understatement. As we are blessed during this tragic time, we will most definitely pay it forward as FatherGod has always provided our needs. That is why I am sitting here at this computer typing these words to you. I believe there are kind-hearted people who will find it in their hearts to help us while we are in need.
