Eric Knapp medical bill fundraiser

Eric Knapp was diagnosed with Stage 4 nodular and metastatic melanoma in June of 2018 and chronic lymphocytic leukemia in March of 2019. His Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage under his wife's state coverage said his treatment was non-essential if you can believe that. They stopped with his immunotherapy treatments abruptly with no explanation. His treatments as of this point is $50,000.00 per month and he is working with another insurance company to help with those costs. His co-pay is $7,000.00 per treatment and he is looking at 34 treatments so far. He needs help immediately with these costs and they will not be used for anything other than his co-pay expenses. He is undergoing Chemo (OCTIVA) every 3 weeks for the next 2 years. We are not asking for help with monthly household bills ONLY medical expenses although that would be extremely helpful as he and his wife of 25 years, Chris has been struggling to keep everything above water. His wife has been an educator for 12 years and coaches Lacrosse at a local high school here in Georgia. Eric has 2 children at the ages of 21 and 25 along with 2 beautiful grandchildren, Grayson 3 and Silas at 2  years of age. His adoration for his kids and grandkids shows through his emotions each time we reflect on family matters. Eric was a police officer for 15 years all through the state of Georgia and served his community with care and respect before moving onto his passion which is in the Landscape Designing field. Eric and his family are also good Christian people who frequent Compassion Christian Church when he is able but Christ is never out of his thoughts and everyone is always in his prayers. The reason for me doing this for him is because the planet needs more of these types of people and not less. He never complains and is always there to help others in need without hesitation. Please help this family overcome this terrible disease and keep the good people of America such as him continuing to better the world as we know it.
