Eric Marquez cancer sucks fund

Two years ago my best friend, Eric Marquez, had to stop working due to a heart condition. He was out of paid leave after 6 months of being out of work. After he had to stop working for a year his health benefits have stopped. State funds have helped him out with part of his medical, but he has been struggling to cover his daily expenses. Just a month ago he was diagnosed with leukemia and is going through his 2nd round of chemotherapy. 

If you knew Eric like I do, you would know he is one of the most dedicated and loyal friends you could ever have. The strength of this man is inspiring, just the fact he was doing this all privately and not reaching out for help is admirable. Knowing his condition has gotten worse I want to try to fundraise for some extra support. His amazing girlfriend and family have been a great support system with a little help of myself, but we can't do it alone amymore which is why I'm creating this go fund me. He's been trying to come back to work multiple times, but his heart would stop him in his tracks. Everytime he has made any positive progress, he unfortunately had major setbacks but this most recent setback being diagnosed with cancer is not going to keep him down.

I want Eric and his girlfriend to just be focused on fighting this terrible disease. I dont want them to worry about the added pressure and burden of everyday necessities. Any amount given is definitely appreciated and welcomed. I just want my best friend to be able to get through this time without stressing out so he can solely focus on getting healthy again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let' get Eric back!
