Eric Miles Support

Hi All, it's with a heavy heart that I am having to set this up. About 12 years ago, Eric was diagnosed with a disease that our father also had. Our dad had a liver transplant in 2011 because of the disease. It is called primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Some of you may know that Walter Payton also had the disease and died because of it. This last year the disease has progressed to the point that Eric is in end stage liver disease and needs a transplant. He is in the process of going through testing and countless appointments through and at Mayo clinic in Phoenix Arizona. They saw that through CT scans that Eric also has portal vein thrombosis which is a blood clot in the major vein to the liver which makes this transplant even more critical. We are praying that he will have this transplant very soon.. but during this time he has many financial burdens which we want to help lift from him, so he can concentrate on getting well. He does have insurance, but there are other financial needs, such as missed work because of appointments, some travel expenses to and from Mayo clinic, and extra medical expenses that insurance will not cover and is his responsibility. We would love to rally support and show our love for Eric during this difficult time. Please, also , continue to pray that God would provide a liver for him very soon.
