Our fantastic Community member Tonia Taylor Dillon lost the love of her life Eric Paul Higley of Warren, Ohio May 21, 2022. He was on his way to an SBMC, AKA Second Brigade Motorcycle Club, event in Hershey, Pennsylvania, when he hit Debris on the road with his motorcycle. He left this world and rode into the next suddenly following the accident in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Eric was a graduate of the Jefferson Area High School class of 1993, where he played football and basketball. A lifelong football and Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan Eric coached and was a past board member for the LaBra Little Vikings for many years. Eric worked at Trumbull Correctional Institute for 16 years, one as a plumber and 15 as a corrections officer, where he formed many strong friendships with his fellow brothers and sisters behind the shield. The man to call for help fixing anything, his generosity was legendary. With the biggest heart, He served the veterans and service members of this country as a proud Life Member of the SBMC, AKA Second Brigade Motorcycle Club. He held numerous positions, including current State Sergeant at Arms.

Tonia has been unable to work or do several household duties for almost a year now due to complications of Covid 19. Making this time of grieving even harder, worried about how the bills will get paid.

We are hoping to raise enough donations to continue to be able to maintain their household that ran off of Eric's income only.

Today, our goal is to pay the household bills for 6 months to allow the family time to grieve and not worry about the monthly bills getting behind.
