Erica Isom-Taylor

My sister Erica Isom-Taylor passed away untimely as of the 7th of December 2023, losing her battle with domestic violence. She fought valiantly, and I admired her so much for her strength. The pain that swells inside me is immeasurable, but I know that she rests now that her battle is over. Her progeny include 3 living children ages 16, 15, & 12 all of whom are also devastated by this tragedy.

Erica was a legend of the schoolhouse world and dearly loved by her fellow coworkers & students. She was an amazing mother, sister, daughter, and friend and I’ll always be proud of her as my older sister. I’ve always considered myself blessed to have been her shadow of a little sister since birth. She really was one of a kind, her generosity was limitless and she often gave so selflessly to others. Today the world shines a little less bright, not just for me, but for everyone her tragic story has affected.

My sister was not rich nor was she poor at the end of her life. However, I feel like my sister deserves a special homegoing celebration. We have been quoted for all of the basic funeral costs estimating about $7,500. We would be greatly honored by anyone willing to donate to this gofundme.

I would like to give my sister a send off that her children will remember & one that she would be proud of. I'm really hoping that we can do this together.
