Erica Karenzi funeral

“Life is not a destination, but merely a stop along the way.”
With great sadness,
We mourn our Baby Girl Erica KARENZI, a graduate student in the Masters of Science in Technical Communication program at the University of Houston-Downtown(UHD), who returned unexpectedly to her heavenly home on April 9, 2020 in Houston, Texas.
Erica leaves behind her loving twin brother, her 2 elder sisters and her amazing parents.
She was kind, funny, generous, honest & with the purest soul. She loved wholly & was loved just the same.
She was such a bundle of joy and always smiling. Erica had the kindest and biggest heart anyone could have. She was so gentle and caring and if we could describe her love, it would be warm. It felt so good being around her. Her laugh is something we will never forget. She would laugh so hard that tears would come out of her eyes. Always without fail, she would laugh so hard till she cried and that showed how much love and joy she had inside of her that it literally poured out of her.
With all of the emotional pain and stress that a loss like this brings, it is also accompanied by financial burdens. With this fundraiser we hope to raise funds for Erica's parents to help in meeting costs that will be incurred. The family & the Rwandan diaspora in Houston are trying to raise $15000 to bring their child home for burial in dignity.
For those in Rwanda who would love to contribute, please kindly send it to 0784337679
We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide & we wish to express our gratitude for your love, support, and kindness during these most trying and heartbreaking times of our lives
In God's Hands you rest, in our Hearts you stay!
The GoFundMe funds will be made out to Erica's Brother-in-law, Ikechukwu Nwaogbo. He will be responsible for all the payment arrangements with the funeral home in Houston, TX.
