Help Erica Stomp out glioblastoma brain cancer!!

Erica is a loving wife, mother of two and a amazing RN. Her husband Pete is a police officer and puts his life on the line for all of us. He will now be helping his wife fight for her life while taking care of their children Brooklyn age 6 and Pierce age 4. You can only imagine the weight this has on the family let alone having to worry about finances. Erica’s journey started with ear pain.  August 5th she went to the ER with right side ear pain, numbness, and facial paralysis. The doctors were concerned and wanted to rule out a stroke. Her initial diagnosis was Bell’s Palsy and Ramsay Hunt viral infection of the ear. During a routine CT scan they found an incidental mass on her right frontal lobe. It was not related to the Bell’s Palsy or ear pain. Multiple tests were done and the doctors were able to rule out other tumors. She had a crainotomy surgery August 11th. During the surgery they were able to partially remove the brain tumor. Erica’s tumor was confirmed glioblastoma multiforme cancer stage 4 on August 17th. Thankfully post surgery Erica has no neurological deficits.  As she starts treatment to battle this cancer she needs all the prayers and support we can offer.  If we all pull together we can help take some stress off the family during this crucial time of their lives.
