Get Artist Erica Lord Back at Art!

If you've followed Native American art for a while, you might be familiar with artist Erica Lord (Athabascan, Inupiaq, Finnish, Swedish, English and Japanese heritage). She just moved to back Santa Fe, NM after finishing an artist-in-residence here in November. She was here in Santa Fe for only 2 weeks when she was bicycling to run errands after her first day of her new job on January 24th and was hit by a car! And then, a truck drove over her feet and ankles!
Her L3 vertebrae has a compression fracture, and she has a severe compression affecting her spinal cord, which is painful, and may require surgery, but at first, she will approach conservatively with time, rest, and some PT. Her feet and ankles are so flexible that they just squished under the truck's wheels. No bones were broken in her feet - it's just soft tissue damage. She will get better, but this has been a big set-back.
Erica Lord has been in temporary housing since the accident. She needs money for first, last, and deposit on an apartment here in Santa Fe, as since she cannot ride a bicycle again anytime soon, she needs money for transportation via Uber/Lyft while she's recovering.
Several of us here in Santa Fe have been helping with personal care, errands, and cooked meals, and we can always use that type of help, but what she really needs is money to help her get settled, healed, and back to making art.
If anyone in Santa Fe has a lead on an inexpensive but safe apartment, preferrably close to downtown (& near her doctors) available in June, please e-mail or message! Thank you!
