Ericeira Paws

Hello,

We are a group of volunteers who decided to create this Ericeira paws non-profit project.

Ericeira paws represents dogs and cats coming from the public shelter of Mafra area.

There are always around 45 dogs + 10 cats that are leaving in hard and stressful conditions : small boxes, constant noise, and bad smell...

Normally, the animals of this shelter don't go out from those small boxes at all.

That's why we are here, to give them freedom, at least 30 minutes per week for each of them.

Today we give our time and energy to those animals so that they could see a little bit of light and nature, so that they could feel love and care.

Our aim :

* Give those animals better life as they deserve it

* Find good families who are ready to do the adoption

* Find people who could foster a dog or cat, and we are here to support you

* Volunteering, walk with dogs, provide them better food, take care of them.

Why Ericeira Paws needs your help ?

As a public shelter, all dogs and animals don't receive the necessary care as it should be.

All animals :

- are fed with low quality food with 0% nutritional value, and it provokes bad consequences

- sleep on wet and dirty wood palettes (always cold and uncomfortable)

- don't receive any additional nutriments such as vitamins (the quality of teeth and dog hair are very bad).

- don't have a whole medical treatment as public shelter is limited in budget

In plus, every week, we have new dogs in the shelter and some of them are coming in very bad conditions.

That's why we NEED YOUR HELP to provide all that above mentioned help that we miss today for all our dogs and cats.

You can visit us anytime on :

- Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 9am and 1pm -> the days we volunteer in the shelter.

Please, let us know if you want to have a visit.

We will be happy to show you our dogs and cats that have a big potential to be fostered and adopted.

We will be totally transparent with you, and we will share all information regarding the food, vitamins, medical care that we will provide to those dogs and cats thanks to your help.
