Erick Franklin

On March 18th, 2023, Erick was with 3 other friends when a horrible accident happened and the truck Erick was riding in rolled. 3 of the 4 occupants were ejected from the vehicle and one of them sustained fatal injuries. KSL , KUTV , and Fox13 posted more details.

Erick was taken via ambulance to Utah Valley Hospital and from there he was life-flighted to Primary Children's Hospital. While he is expected to recover, he's got a long road ahead of him. Erick was diagnosed with injuries to his liver, kidney, spleen and pancreas. He suffered a bruised lung, broken ribs, fractured sternum, and a fractured back. Erick is also dealing with the loss of his friend.

Those of you who know Erick or his mom Michelle, know that they're going to need some help getting through this. Michelle is a single mom and in order to provide the care Erick needs, she will be out of work for several weeks. (Michelle is a bus driver for Utah County Schools as well as a massage therapist).

100% of donations received (minus any gofundme fees) will go towards assisting with Erick's recovery.

Updates on Erick's condition will be provided regularly and Erick's mom wants to thank everyone for their support and eagerness to help Erick get through this anyway they can.

This campaign is being managed by Erick's advocates at Johnson Livingston at the request and direction of his mom Michelle. None of the money donated will go toward any attorney fees or costs and 100% of funds received will be provided to Michelle to assist with Erick's road to recovery.
