Erick Ortega Alvarez

On December 21, 2023, my brother Erick Ortega Alvarez, was brutally shot to death in a West Ashley park. Our family is completely devistated, especially near the holiday time. He always gave us unconditional love, always helped others, and was a prime example of a man who wanted to change for the better. We are sad that he will never be able to fullfil his promise. With the investigation still pending and his autopsy just performed, we are trying to plan his funeral so that he may rest in peace.
