Eric’s broken leg surgery

Hi,

 

I wasn’t going to do this because I hate asking for things, but my 5 month old Springer Spaniel Eric has broken his little humerus, and the vets have said this will be £3500 from an orthopaedic surgeon at Liverpool University. We only have £1000 insurance and animal friends (his insurance) aren’t covering him for his other (£1600) hernia either, but the priority is his little leg. The vet has said he will have to have this amputated if we can’t afford the £3500.

 

I hate asking for things and would never have done it, however he’s our baby and we’re desperate for him to save his little leg.

 

I’m honestly not expecting anything but even if you could give £1 it would really help us out, like I said I would never ask but it’s for Eric. I’ve set the goal as £2500 but honestly anything would really help us. His total for this and his hernia is £5100, we honestly don’t expect anything at but just wanted to show why we were asking for it.

 

I will also put on here updates to how he’s getting on and receipts for the surgery.

Every penny raised will be used towards surgery of Eric, receipts and invoices will be posted when anything's paid for, on here. If any extra funds are raised and we have paid for the surgery, every single penny of extra donations will go to Spaniel Aid UK, registered charity number 1169724. We will not keep a penny to ourselves as it's Eric's money and we are so grateful to have raised this much so far.
