Erik Fridenberger Memorial Scholarship

Hello, My name is Heather. I am fundraising for the Erik Fridenberger memorial scholarship. This will be the first year. Violet (our daughter) will be presenting a high school student/students with half of the proceeds of this fundraiser for college. The other half will go toward her future and one day awarded to her. She is 13 years old. This year the student receiving this scholarship will be from William Floyd High School which is where Erik graduated. We will choose a different school each year. It will be given to a student who has experienced mental health struggles and/or mental illness. A student who wants to raise awareness through education of the extreme importance in taking care of our mental well being. Losing Erik has been beyond devastating. He was a bright light in this world and we will

miss him forever. Erik loved supporting charities and was always there for everyone with a helping hand. Violet and I created this scholarship to try and encourage others to reach out for support while honoring Erik's kindness. Please share! It doesn't matter how much you donate.
