Erik, Jenn, and Sam Neff

Erik Neff is currently at UW in Seattle undergoing treatment for a Brain Tumor. On December 3rd, 2022 he had a seizure while working on his wife's (Jenn) semi. He went to Samaritan ER and was waiting to be transferred however there weren't any beds available at surrounding hospitals. He was sent home with follow up in Spokane. After his appointment in Spokane, he learned that he has a brain tumor. He was then scheduled for a biopsy that would have taken place 12/15/22. On 12/11, after eating lunch, he became ill and went to rest, Jenn went in to check on him and found him very lethargic and was unable to sit him up and get him cleaned up from being sick. She decided to call 911. They took him back to Samaritan and almost immediately put him in a medically induced coma. He was life flighted to UW and is currently awaiting a biopsy scheduled for today, 12/12.

Erik had just started a new position with Hanford this month, and Jenn is currently on leave from driving truck to care for and be with her husband.

Jenn and Erik have three beautiful children. Their daughter Sarah passed away in a car accident in May 2020, and their son Max passed away at home December 2021. This month is the one year anniversary of losing their son. Their daughter, Samantha is in middle school and I can only imagine is terrified at enduring another loss, as is Jenn. Erik is my neighbor and has been so helpful to our entire neighborhood. He truly will help out whenever in any way he can when it is needed.
