Few words can describe the agony we feel in the unexpected loss of our beautiful and vibrant friend, Erika. She had so many gifts and so many dreams for her future and that was taken from her on Tuesday night, when an impaired driver got behind the wheel. A senseless and vicious tragedy. 


We will remember Erika for her positive energy and her genuine zest for life that radiated. Beyond everything, we will remember her glowing personality and the warmth and kindness she shared with others. She made people smile. She lifted them up and made them better. And in a world where kindness matters beyond all things, this world is a far lesser place without her. She leaves a gaping hole in the community. 

My name is John Meyer and I am the owner of Ace Athletics where Erika worked. Erika meant the world to me and my fiance' Kelly Perez, and to the entire Ace Athletics family. Erika was a part of our chosen family. In our tremendous grief, we know that the only way to navigate through this painful time, is to honor her and support her family. This gofundme is intended to support Erika's family through these uncharted territories and ease any financial burdens, so they may focus entirely on grieving their loss and honoring Erika.
