Rally for Erin!

We are heartbroken to share the news about the devastating fire at Sub Rosa Bakery, which has deeply impacted the community, especially our dear friend, Erin Keene, the owner of Second Bottle. Erin’s apartment, located above the bakery, was completely destroyed in the fire. While we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured and that Erin and her beloved Cooper are safe, the loss of her home and cherished possessions is significant.
Erin has poured her heart into Second Bottle, creating a space that reflects her love for the Church Hill community. As the holiday season—a critical time for small businesses—approaches, this is an opportunity for us to rally around her with the care and support she so deeply deserves.
Here are some ways we can show our solidarity and help Erin navigate this difficult time:
- Visit Second Bottle: Located at 324 North 27th Street in Richmond, Second Bottle offers a thoughtfully curated selection of wines and snacks. Shopping here is not just a way to support Erin’s business; it’s also a chance to remind her that her community stands with her. The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM.
- Utilize Delivery Services: For those unable to visit in person, Second Bottle offers a convenient delivery service within a 10-mile radius, operating Tuesday through Saturday. Orders placed by 3 PM can be delivered the same day.
- Spread the Word: Sharing Erin’s story and encouraging others to visit or support Second Bottle is a simple yet impactful way to make a difference. Every gesture counts during this critical season.
- Donate Here!
Erin's resilience and dedication to our community are truly inspiring. Let's come together to show our love and support.
Thank you for extending your kindness to an irreplaceable member of the Church Hill and Richmond family.
