Erin Bales through health complications

Update:
Hello everyone! My name is Katia Reyes and I am asking for help for someone who never does for herself. Erin is a fun loving, vibrant, optimistic, woman. In the 25 years that Erin has been alive, she has been fighting a fight she often keeps to herself. Over the past 15 years, she has been diagnosed/misdiagnosed with some of the most unheard of conditions and disorders. Because of said conditions she has countless years of being poked, prodded, and questioned. In 2014 at the age of 17, she had pacemaker placed. She’s had an auto kidney transplant. She’s had multiple procedures for gastroparesis. In the most recent years, she has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which has explained a lot of her symptoms. One of which is carpal tunnel. November of 2022, she went in for bilateral carpal tunnel surgery. A simple 6 week recovery is all that’s expected afterwards. She recovered well enough went back to work. But her health started to declined shortly after. She started experiencing extreme headaches (a burning sensation) at the base of skull, nausea, runny nose, pressure in her chest, increase in heart rate, terrible blood pressure, slurring in speech, and a burning sensation through her sinuses. One night, in Mid-January, it got to the point where she thought she was having a heart attack and stroke. She reached out to her doctor who got her quickly in to see him and after looking at her CT results he’s deducted that she has a CSF leak (leaking cerebral and/or spinal fluid) that is draining out of her nose. There is very little they can do right now. Getting an MRI is the next step, but due to her pacemaker, the process is a little more complicated. She will need extra specialists for the MRI, which will take another month to gather together. Depending on the result of the MRI, if the leak is small enough, she might be able to get a blood patch to temporarily repair the leak. But the only permanent solution is for her to get brain surgery that is only performed at two clinics in the country. All solutions are months away from happening and because of the drainage coming out her nose she has to minimize the amount of time she spends standing/sitting up. She is months away from returning to work. Erin has never been one to ask for help, and the fact that she is allowing me to make this fundraiser is very telling. If you are able to contribute anything towards helping her pay her bills while she’s out of work, that would be greatly appreciated.
