Erin Corrine's "Strange Loops" - A Music Video

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Austin Ramey. I'm the director of the music video for Strange Loops! Let me tell you a bit about our wonderful project!

What it's All About:
This music video sees Erin wandering the streets of a post-apocalyptic New York. As she sings, corpses around her begin to reanimate. They prepare for the arrival of nonother than the Grim Reaper, who has finally come for Erin.

This music video is about the acceptance of death and the eventual transition we'll all take.

You can expect a spooky atmosphere, striking visuals, emotional performances, and a memorable ending.

You can find Erin's previous single here: Heroin Chic

Artist's Notes:

Hello! My name is Erin, and yes, unfortunately, I am yet another broke musician asking for your financial support. I have been writing, recording, and producing my debut EP Strange Loops for the past year by myself, and each track is finally taking shape to become a body of work that I am truly proud of, something that hardly ever happens when you’ve been obsessed with perfecting the identity you portray to the world, and stuck on shaping sounds into something genuine and relatable to every conscious being since the age of 11.

Due to this obsession, I wrote this EP about the moments where my studies in philosophy and consciousness melded with my chronic identity crises that only worsens in your 20’s, along with the startling realization of mortality that we all underwent during a worldwide pandemic...and now, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people who are willing to bring the visuals of such concepts to life through an insanely beautiful music video, on a scale that I have only ever dreamed of since my youth.

So, if you can relate to any of these themes, or you’re just looking to support passionate artists like our crew and myself, then I hope you’ll find the time to donate to our GoFundMe to help this group of artists continue to make their ideas a reality.

Director's Notes:

Hi! Austin here. I'm a music video director from San Diego currently located in Los Angeles.

This music video is an incredibly personal project for me. Fear of death is something I've always struggled with and is something I've only recently come to accept. It's something I think most people tend to grapple with but something not many of us wants to talk about.

I want to create something that pairs perfectly with Erin's beautifully haunting song along with making something that could help others get over the same thing I once feared (and still occasionally do).

Where the Money Will Go:
Funds donated to the production of the music video will go towards set decoration, costuming, craft services, safety measures, and ensuring our amazing cast and crew are treated right.

Overall:
I'd like to thank you so much for reading about this project. It's near and dear to my heart and I'd love to ensure Erin gets the best music video possible. Her music absolutely deserves it. To everyone that has supported me over the years, I'll be forever grateful to every single one of you.
You all deserve gold metals (the impossibly shiny kind).

Off we go!

Best,
Austin
