Erin Mullen’s Stage 4 Breast Cancer Fight
Donation protected
I was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer (liver Mets) in November of 2019. I have been through multiple chemos.. I had a liver biopsy that dropped my hemo so low that I needed a blood transfusion. I continued with the chemos until my body couldn’t take it anymore and I needed a second blood transfusion. We moved directly to surgery where my breast lump was removed as well as 20 something lymph nodes from my armpit. I then went on Xeloda chemo pills as I required a wound vacuum to heal the large whole in my breast before I could move on to radiation. I did radiation and back on Xeloda. I finally finished those but will have liver surgery just before Christmas. I am single and live alone with my two cats. I was accepted for disability and tried to get affordable housing but all of the waitlists are closed so my rent uses most of my disability payment. Also there is a 5 or 6 month waiting period before my disability payments started and I ran up my credit cards just to get by. My hope is to pay off my credit cards. I can try to make it through on disability but not with the credit card interest and charges. I’ve put off asking for help for so long because I’m used to taking care of myself but I need help. Please if you can, donate. I will add more to this when I can but I’m still fatigued and weak.
