Erin's Rainy Year

We are a few coworkers and friends that love Erin and appreciate everything she's done for the office and outside of these four walls. Most of us know that her Condo was first flooded back in January, and has been uninhabitable for nearly 6 months. It still has at least a few more months left to go for repairs. Unfortunately, her Condo Insurance has already capped out, and can no longer pay for housing alternatives nor her items to be stored. She must pay about 3k for her storage to be able to retrieve her items.

Aside from her housing situation, her car has not had a functioning HVAC system since 2022. It was manageable through the cold with extra blankets, and she has spent the entire Summer driving her child with the windows down. Having purchased her car back in 2013, she's paid an additional 50% of her vehicle cost in maintenance the past couple of years. Less than a year ago, she replaced her transmission amongst other big ticket items on this vehicle!

Her father was the primary point of support in care for her son, but has recently had some health complications and was hospitalized. Thankfully, he's now in recovery, but still cannot assist as he previously was able to.

Let's all join as the village we know we can be to help this lovely single mother through a very rough year, and help gain funds to have a functioning vehicle and a place to lay their head while she continues to fight to have her home repaired.

All warriors deserve a break, and we're hoping this will help her get a new (to her) car and her items out of storage, where fees are piling up on a daily basis.
