Support Mason's Urgent Medical Journey

Donation protected
We will be celebrating Mason and his life after the holidays. This will give everyone some time to be a little bit less sad and we wanted to do it around his birthday in January.

There will be one held in his hometown of Ventura, CA on Sunday January 5, 2025

And we will be having another one in Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday January 7, 2025 which is also Mason’s birthday.

Times and locations are TBD but those will be the dates. Everyone who loved Mason is welcome to come❤️

Things were looking up last week, then things took a turn for the worse.

Mason’s blood pressure kept dropping, then his pancreas stopped producing insulin, and his body was attacking and destroying his red blood cells.
Everything was failing, and Mason passed away Monday morning (11/18/24) at 515am.

Lisa slept in his hospital bed with him all night, and until he passed, and he was surrounded by family while he took his last breaths passing away peacefully in his sleep.

We are all heartbroken and devastated.
We would like to keep the GoFundMe going for Lisa, as she navigates a whole new life without her soulmate, to cover any uncovered medical bills, and to cover any funeral / celebration of life costs. Lisa is going through the worst thing anyone will ever go through, and is unsure when she will be able to return to work.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our loved ones in the community.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out with an important and deeply emotional update regarding Mason Markworth-Pollack. When we first shared Mason’s story, we were filled with hope and uncertainty. Sadly, after further medical evaluations and tests, the gravity of his condition has become all too clear.

Mason was admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning, where doctors confirmed troubling masses on his liver, pancreas, and lymph nodes. It is with a heavy heart that we must now confirm that these masses are cancerous. The doctors have indicated that this cancer has been present for some time and has now spread, placing Mason in the advanced stages of this battle. This devastating news has left Lisa, their family, and all of us who love Mason in shock and sorrow.

Today, Mason has been moved to the ICU due to critically low blood pressure, and he is now undergoing dialysis for kidney failure brought on by liver failure. This journey is unimaginably difficult, and the family is facing challenges that no one should have to endure.

In this time of profound need, we humbly ask for your continued support, love, and prayers for Lisa and the entire
family. Your generosity will not only help alleviate some of the financial burdens they are facing but will also remind them that they are surrounded by a community that cares deeply.

Thank you for your compassion and support during this heartbreaking time. Together, we can help lift them up in their time of need.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Our dear friend Mason could really use our help right now. A couple of weeks ago, Mason started to not feel well, and last week decided he needed to go to urgent care. Urgent care sent him to the hospital where they found masses on his liver, pancreas, and lymph nodes. While still awaiting biopsy results, Mason was sent home late Thursday night, but come Saturday morning, Mason was having to return to the hospital via ambulance. He has been admitted, and his family is traveling out to be with him while we await results and treatment planning. We still don't know what the prognosis is, but it can be assumed that Mason is going to need intensive medical intervention. We have started this GoFundMe to help pay for Mason's medical expenses and with any financial needs so Lisa, Mason's wife, can be with him while recovering.

Some of us know Mason from the years skating with him starting back in high school, met him while traveling the world, or maybe he helped you buy your last home. We can all agree that Mason is an extraordinary husband, son, brother, and friend. Let's help get Mase back on his feet.
